The first look at Brie Larson’s latest project has officially arrived. Apple TV + on Friday revealed two official images of Chemistry lessons, the live adaptation of Bonnie Jarmus’ novel of the same name. The series will be led by Larson, whose work also includes playing Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Based on the novel of the same name by Bonnie Jarmus, Chemistry lessons Larson stars as Elizabeth Zoet, whose dream of being a scientist has been put on hold in a society that considers women to belong to the domestic sphere, not the professional sphere. When Elizabeth finds herself pregnant and single and expelled from her lab, she muster up the ingenuity that only a single mother possesses. She accepts a job as a TV cooking show host and sets out to teach a nation of neglectful housewives—and men who suddenly listen—much more than recipes, while yearning to return to her true love: science. Jarmus’ novel was published this spring, and has already become a New York Times bestseller.
